Annual Update
ANNUAL UPDATE (AU)

All families must complete the Annual Update by all families by August 9th.
The AU is also how 快播成人/caregivers:
- Provide updated emergency contact information for their student(s)
- Determine how their child's information is shared
- Review and acknowledge parent rights and important notifications
- Learn about student device fees and insurance
- May qualify for educational benefits

Bell Schedules
2025- 26 school bell schedules are available on the Bell Schedule webpage.
E-Bikes and E-Scooters
To maintain safety on our campuses and community, it is imperative that 快播成人 and students understand and abide by the laws and age requirements regarding e-bikes and e-scooters.
CLASS 2 e-bike:
- MUST wear helmet if under age 18
- Modifying the bike to go over the 20mph speed limit is illegal
CLASS 3 e-bike:
- MUST be 16 years of age
- Maximum stpeed of 28 MPH
- Modifying the bike to go over the 28mph speed limit is illegal
- MUST wear helmet, regardless of age
E-Scooter:
- MUST have a valid driver's license or learners permit to operate
- MUST wear helmet if under age 18

Immunizations and Health
Proof of complete immunization records must be provided and verified. It is required by California State law that all students have complete records of immunizations prior to entering school.

Incoming 6th Graders:
This informs you about Assembly Bill (AB) 659, the Cancer Prevention Act. AB 659 requires public schools to notify 快播成人 and guardians of incoming 6th graders about the State's public policy recommendation for all students to receive full human papillomavirus (HPV) immunization before admission or advancement to the eighth-grade level. Currently, there is no requirement to obtain the HPV immunization for advancement into 8th grade.
Incoming 7th graders:
Under California Education Code Section 49452.7, the school district is required to notify 快播成人 and guardians of incoming 7th graders about type 2 diabetes. Please review the information .

School Safety
Student and staff safety is a top priority in SRVUSD. Each school site has a plan with specified roles and responsibilities for handling various types of emergencies.
The district has the CareLine - a reporting system available on each school website. Reports can be made by any member of the school community to report incidents related to bullying, threats, reports of hate and discrimination, or other situations that may pose a danger or bring harm to members of our school community.

The process for Secondary schools course change requests will be communicated directly by your school.

All volunteers must be cleared through our Volunteer Management System,
In alignment with California State Assembly Bill 506, effective July 1, 2025, all SRVUSD volunteers will be required to complete a Livescan fingerprint background check as well as mandated reporter and sexual harassment prevention training to be eligible to volunteer for the 2025-26 school year.

Meet Our New Administators

Meet Our New Administators![]()
Alternative Ed Principal- Melissa Sackett

Melissa Sackett serves as the Principal of Alternative Education for the San Ramon 快播成人 Unified School District, supporting both Venture and Del Amigo High Schools. With over two decades of experience in education, Melissa brings a strong background in student support, leadership, and a deep commitment to equity and personalized learning.
Before joining SRVUSD, Melissa was the Assistant Principal at Encinal Jr./Sr. High School in the Alameda Unified School District and previously served in the same role in Pleasanton Unified. She spent more than 13 years as a Head Counselor across middle school, high school, and alternative education settings, where she developed a passion for creating inclusive, empowering environments that meet students where they are.
Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Saint Martin’s University, along with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential and an Administrative Services Credential. She is excited to lead with compassion and vision in support of the Venture and Del Amigo school communities.
California High Assistant Principal- Charlotte Vaughns

Charlotte Vaughn brings more than two decades of experience and a deep commitment to educational equity to her role as Assistant Principal at California High School. She began her career in the San Ramon 快播成人 Unified School District in 2002 as an instructional assistant and has since served in a variety of impactful roles, including classroom teacher, Equity Teacher on Special Assignment (TSA), MTSS Liaison and most recently Administrative TSA at Iron Horse Middle School.
Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Arts in Education from San Francisco State University. She also possesses a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential. She is known for her collaborative leadership and student-centered approach.
Country Club/Greenbrook Elementary Assistant Principal- Stephanie Stathatos

Stephanie Stathatos joined the district in 2013 and most recently served as Administrative Teacher on Special Assignment at Greenbrook Elementary. Prior to that, she was an MTSS Liaison and an elementary teacher.
Stephanie has held a variety of teacher leadership roles, including SRVTIP mentor, SST Coordinator, School Site Council Representative, and grade-level leader. Stephanie brings a collaborative and compassionate approach and a depth of knowledge and experience to her new role.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from UC Davis, Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Cal State Fullerton, a Preliminary Administrative Credential, and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
Special Education Program Supervisor- Lori Balleza

Lori Balleza has been a dedicated member of the San Ramon 快播成人 Unified School District for over 15 years, serving students from preschool through high school as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She specializes in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), providing expert support in both assessment and implementation for students with moderate to intensive needs.
Lori is recognized for her individualized, student-centered approach and her strong advocacy for inclusive and culturally responsive special education services.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from San Jose State University. Lori also holds a Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential and is currently completing the requirements for her Preliminary Administrative Services Credential.
Special Education Program Supervisor- Samuel Haller
Sam Haller is an experienced and dedicated special education professional with over a decade of service supporting students with moderate to intensive needs. Most recently, he served as a Moderate/Intensive Special Day Class teacher in the Walnut Creek School District, and prior to this, Sam spent seven years in the Albany Unified School District working at the middle school level in a similar capacity.
He brings a wealth of experience in case management across both elementary and secondary settings and is recognized for his compassionate and collaborative approach.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Comparative Literature Studies from Occidental College and a Master of Arts in Special Education from San Francisco State University. He holds an Education Specialist Credential with an added Authorization for Severely Handicapped and is in the final stages of completing his Preliminary Administrative Services Credential through the Contra Costa County Office of Education.
Special Education Program Supervisor- Michelle Guidi

Michelle Guidi, joined SRVUSD in 2019 serving as the Education Specialist for private schools and settlement cases in the Special Education department. Michelle brings expertise, professionalism, and a deep commitment to students with special needs. She has served in several leadership capacities, including as a SRVTIP mentor teacher, CPI trainer, and co-leader of SRVUSD’s New Teacher Cohort, providing professional development and support for new special education staff
Michelle’s background includes experience as an Instructional Aide, Child Development Specialist, and both Special and General Education Teacher.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Marist College, a Master’s Degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College, and a certificate in Applied School Leadership from National University. She holds multiple credentials, including an Education Specialist Credential with an added Authorization for Autism, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and is currently completing her Preliminary Administrative Credential through the Contra Costa County Office of Education.
Twin Creeks Elementary Principal- Rhonda Taft

Rhonda Taft brings over 25 years of dedicated service to the San Ramon 快播成人 Unified School District, where she began her career in 1998 as an Instructional Assistant. Since then, she has held a variety of roles including Special Education Teacher, Educational Specialist, Extended School Year (ESY) Principal, MTSS Liaison, Intervention/Inclusion Specialist, and Program Supervisor. Most recently, she served as Assistant Principal at California High School since 2021.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Hayward, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from California State University, East Bay, a Level II Education Specialist Credential, and an Administrative Services Credential. Rhonda is known for her strong leadership in Special Education and her student-centered approach.

Many questions can be answered by school site staff! Please go to your to find office and administration contact information.
Any issues or concerns are best resolved first at the classroom level. However, there are times when a resolution cannot be reached at the classroom level, and a parent, caregiver, or community member may need additional support from the school or even District administration. You can access contact information and who to ask for help at any time additional support is needed

Join the on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Walk, run, roll, or stroll. Come for The Run and stay for the fun: kids’ zone, inflatable games, face painter, live entertainment, food, frozen treats, and more to celebrate Excellence in Education in the San Ramon 快播成人 USD!
TRAFFIX Bus Passes and Information
TRAFFIX, funded by Contra Costa County's Measure J 1/2 cent sales tax, safely transports students on select routes at 11 SRVUSD schools. The primary purpose of the program is to reduce traffic in the San Ramon 快播成人's most congested areas.

TRAFFIX is operated jointly by the Town of Danville, the City of San Ramon, Contra Costa County, and the San Ramon 快播成人 Unified School District.
Air Quality and Heat Advisory Guidance
SRVUSD prioritizes the safety of all students and staff. During periods of poor air quality and/or excessive heat, the district relies on and follows guidance from county and state partners to align decision making.
The district uses AirNow.gov to measure air quality. Decisions about Air Quality levels and school activities in SRVUSD are normalized on an Air Quality Guidelines Chart that is provided to every school site. Learn more on the Air Quality Information webpage.
When there is excessive heat on a school day, school administrators follow guidance for when outdoor activity should be minimized based on the heat index. All guidance, tips and other resources are available on the Heat Advisory Guidance webpage.
County Connection and 511 Contra Costa
County Connection offers several discounts and promotions on youth bus passes. For more information see our district web page or visit.
511 Contra Costa is a county-wide program that strives to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by providing the public with information, resources, and tools that promote mobility options beyond driving alone.
